New Works ...
My inspiration from Nova Scotia...
This first painting was of my second day hiking a coastal trail - my first sighting of the Atlantic ocean. The second, a view of the village at Peggy's Cove where the fishermen come in with their bounty.
Both are acrylic on canvas.

After admiring the work of some of our local photographers, last winter I reached out to a few of my favourites for permission to paint using their photos for reference. Thank you Mary-Deborah Finch, Jason Pettit and Cathy Caley for your talent and inspiration. Monochromatic, acrylic/canvas. (#1 & 3 sold)
Being a fanatical dog lover/owner, I've always wanted to try painting pets, but it was too intimidating. This past year or so I've decided to face this fear and give it a shot. Here are 5 commissions completed for very happy customers! All acrylic.
Thank you Willie, Leroy, the 3 Amigoes, Henrie and Dexter.
And as a special Christmas gift, here's a painting of Pyro the bearded dragon (my grand dragon lol)
